Welcome to The Mind Tank (the "Platform", which is owned and operated by COFF GUYS MARKETING, hereinafter referred to as "the Company", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to providing high-quality online video courses delivered by expert instructors. Because our platform provides digital content (online video courses and accompanying learning materials), we have established this Refund Policy to protect your consumer rights while preventing malicious abuse of digital copyright and complying with the risk management requirements of our payment gateways.
Please read and understand all the following terms carefully before purchasing any paid courses. Once the purchase is completed, you are deemed to have fully agreed to the terms of this policy.
1. Scope of Application
This policy applies solely to online video courses purchased and paid for on the official website of The Mind Tank. All refund requests must strictly follow the conditions, timeframes, and procedures stipulated herein.
2. Conditions Eligible for Refund
Orders that strictly meet ALL the following conditions may submit a refund request within the stipulated timeframe:
Duplicate Purchase: Due to system latency or operational errors, the same user account has made duplicate payments for the exact same video course.
Unactivated / Unconsumed Content (Within the 5-Day Window): Within 5 days (120 hours) from the exact time of successful payment, the user account has completely ZERO playback clicks on any video course, and has completely ZERO clicks to download any accompanying learning materials.
3. Non-Refundable Conditions
Given the unique nature of digital products and online video services (where core knowledge content can be instantaneously accessed upon consumption), The Mind Tank WILL NOT issue refunds under any of the following circumstances:
Digital Content Consumed: Once the system logs indicate that the account has clicked to play any course video (regardless of playback duration, number of clicks, or completion status), or has clicked to download any accompanying textbook materials, lecture notes, toolkits, etc., the service is deemed consumed.
Exceeding the 5-Day Validity Period: If more than 5 days (120 hours) have elapsed since the successful purchase payment, no refund requests will be accepted, regardless of whether the user has logged into the platform, watched any videos, or downloaded any materials during that period.
Subjective Personal Reasons: Refund requests based on personal reasons such as "no longer wanting to learn," "insufficient time," "course not meeting personal expectations (while the course syllabus matches the actual content)," or "choosing the wrong course" will not be accepted.
Violation of Platform Rules: No refunds will be issued for accounts that have been banned or restricted due to sharing accounts with others, illicit reselling, unauthorized recording of videos, or posting inappropriate comments on the platform.
4. Refund Fees and Payment Pathway
Special Notice on Third-Party Payment Gateway Fees: Upon approval of a refund request, The Mind Tank will refund the order amount; however, the transaction fees charged by third-party payment gateways (such as Xendit, etc.) and associated administrative taxes and fees MUST be deducted from the refund amount. The final refund amount will be based on the net amount after deducting these fees.
Original Payment Pathway: All approved refunds must be returned strictly via the original payment method used during purchase (e.g., original bank card, e-wallet, FPX, etc.). To comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and payment gateway compliance policies, we strictly do not offer cash refunds or private transfers to alternate third-party accounts.
5. Refund Processing Timeframe
Upon receiving a complete and valid refund application, we will strictly adhere to the following timelines for review and fund transfer:
Review Timeframe: The platform will complete the internal audit within 7 working days upon receipt of the refund application email. Users will be notified of the audit results (approval or rejection) via email.
Settlement Timeframe: Once the refund request is approved, the funds will be processed and transferred to your original payment account within 7 to 14 working days. The final date of arrival depends entirely on the processing speed of the third-party payment gateway (Xendit) and your issuing bank.
6. Refund Application Procedure
If your order fully satisfies the aforementioned eligibility criteria, you must submit your request via the following standardized process to ensure timely processing:

Users must send a formal notification email to the official customer service email of The Mind Tank using the email address associated with their registration/purchase: hello@themindtank.co

The email subject line must be formatted as: [Refund Application] _ Your Name

The following complete and accurate information must be provided within the email body:
- Account details used for platform registration/course purchase (Full Name and Email Address)
- Name of the purchased course & Invoice No.
- A clear screenshot of the payment receipt (which must clearly show the transaction time, transaction amount, and transaction reference number)
- The specific reason for the refund request
Note: Any application that is not submitted via the designated email address above, or contains incomplete information preventing the platform from verifying the order, will not be processed. Any corresponding consequences shall be borne solely by the user.
